Original Four-Piece Sunshine Coast Band
The Get Nots are an original four-piece Sunshine Coast band and have been writing, recording and performing locally for almost 10 years. Drums, guitar, bass and saxophone combine to create The Get Nots sound – a melodic mix of garage-style rock shifting between bright and heavy rhythms, underpinned by driving bass and punctuated with a sometimes lilting, sometimes snarling saxophone.
We don’t take ourselves too seriously but are genuine when it comes to our music and performance.

We started getting together once a month and soon discovered a synergy between our musical sensibilities where we all contribute our individual elements to the songwriting process. The result is a sound and style that allows us to complement each other’s playing while having a great time.
The Get Nots are unrestricted by genre and influenced by any, and all music.
